Understand your scale

Your weight changes all day.
Now you can understand why.

MyWeightFluctuations helps you discover your personal day-to-day and throughout-the-day weight patterns by connecting your weigh-ins with the physical mass of what you eat and drink.

Because one higher number on the scale doesn't automatically mean you've lost progress.

The problem with the scale

A higher number can feel like failure.
But the scale doesn't tell you why.

Your scale measures your total body mass at that exact moment. Food, drinks, body water, digestive contents and normal daily body processes can all affect the number.

💡

Scale change is not the same thing as fat change.

Short-term scale movement can happen much faster than meaningful changes in body fat. MyWeightFluctuations helps put those individual readings into context using your own recorded data.

How it works

Your data.
Your fluctuations.

There's no complicated setup. Start recording your real day and let your personal history build over time.

1
⚖️

Log your weight

Step on the scale whenever it makes sense — when you wake up, before a meal, after a drink, after a workout or before bed.

2
🍽️

Track Mass In

Log the physical mass of food and drinks. Weigh it when you can, reuse saved items, or use an estimate when needed.

3
📈

Learn your pattern

See how your scale changes between weigh-ins, across the day and from one day to the next as your personal history grows.

Not another generic weight chart

Learn what's normal for you.

Everyone's weight moves differently. The goal is not to compare your fluctuations with someone else's. It's to build enough of your own history to understand your personal pattern.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is this a calorie-counting app?+

No. MyWeightFluctuations is focused on helping you understand scale-weight fluctuations by connecting your weigh-ins with the physical mass of the food and drinks you log.

Do I have to weigh every food and drink?+

No. Weighing provides a direct measurement when practical, but you can also use saved items and estimates when you cannot measure something.

Does a higher scale reading mean I gained fat?+

Not necessarily. Scale weight can change throughout the day for many reasons. Short-term scale movement should not automatically be interpreted as an equivalent change in body fat.

How often should I weigh myself?+

The app allows multiple weigh-ins throughout the day because those readings help reveal your personal fluctuation pattern. You choose when weighing makes sense for you.

Is it free?+

MyWeightFluctuations is currently free for early testers while we continue building and improving the experience.
